Radial-leaded aluminium electrolytic capacitors by Kyocera AVX 

Kyocera AVX has released a range of wet, conductive polymer, and hybrid aluminium electrolytic capacitors. The capacitors have a range of CV values and cases sizes and are claimed to have one of the shortest lead times of any competing capacitor available on the market. 

The radial-leaded aluminium electrolytic capacitors engineered for use in industrial, communications, and consumer electronics applications and available with a 24-week lead time, which is currently one of the shortest lead times of any competing capacitor on the market.  

The radial-leaded range comprises REH, REF, and REH series wet aluminium electrolytic capacitors, RPA and RPF series conductive polymer aluminium electrolytic capacitors, and RHA and RHD series hybrid aluminium electrolytic capacitors. 

The REA series radial-leaded wet aluminium electrolytic capacitors exhibit high endurance (3,000 to 5,000 hours at 105 degrees C) and are suitable for communications and industrial equipment. They are available with 28 capacitance values extending from 0.47 microF to 22mF ±20  per cent, 14 voltage ratings extending from 6.3 to 450V DC, and two rated operating temperature ranges of -40 to +105 degrees C for 6.3 to 250V parts and -25 to +105 degrees C for 350 to 450V parts. They are also RoHS-compliant and lead-free compatible.

The REF series radial-leaded wet aluminium electrolytic capacitors exhibit low impedance, high ripple current capabilities, and high endurance (3,000 to 6,000 hours at 105 degrees C) in industrial applications including power supplies and filtering circuits. They are available with 31 capacitance values extending from 6.8 microF to 6.8mF ±20 per cent and 10 voltage ratings extending from 6.3 to 120V DC and are rated for operating temperatures extending from -40 to +105 degrees C. They are RoHS and halogen-free compliant and lead-free compatible.  

REH series radial-leaded wet aluminium electrolytic capacitors exhibit high temperature, low impedance, and high ripple current capabilities as well as high endurance (2,000 to 3,000 hours at 125 degrees C) in industrial applications including power supplies and filtering circuits. They are available with 24 capacitance values extending from 1.0 microF to 4.7mF ±20 per cent and 15 voltage ratings extending from 10 to 450V DC and are rated for operating temperatures extending from -40 to +125 degrees C. They are RoHS and halogen-free compliant and lead-free compatible.  

The RPA series radial-leaded conductive polymer aluminium electrolytic capacitors exhibit super-low ESR, high ripple current capabilities, and high endurance (5,000 hours at 105 degrees C) in applications including servers, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and power inverters. They are available with 21 capacitance values extending from 1.0 microF to 2.2mF ±20 per cent and seven voltage ratings spanning 2.5 to 50V DC and are rated for operating temperatures extending from -55 to +105 degrees C. They are RoHS and halogen-free compliant and lead-free compatible.  

The RPF series of radial-leaded conductive polymer aluminium electrolytic capacitors exhibit low ESR, and high endurance (5,000 hours at 105 degrees C) in applications including system boards and DC/DC converters. They are available with 25 capacitance values extending from 4.7 microF to 3.3mF ±20 per cent and nine voltage ratings spanning 6.3 to 100V DC and are rated for operating temperatures extending from -55 to +105 degrees C. They are RoHS-compliant and lead-free compatible.  

The RHA series of radial-leaded hybrid aluminium electrolytic capacitors exhibit low ESR and high endurance (5,000 to 10,000 hours at 105 degrees C) in high-reliability applications including base station equipment. They are available with 19 capacitance values extending from 1.0 to 560 microF ±20 per cent and nine voltage ratings spanning 16 to 125V DC and are rated for operating temperatures extending from -55 to +105 degrees C. They are RoHS-compliant and lead-free compatible.  

The final model is the RHD series of radial-leaded hybrid aluminium electrolytic capacitors which exhibit low ESR, high ripple current capabilities, and high endurance (4,000 hours at 125 degrees C) in high-reliability applications including base station equipment and industrial electronics including power supplies. They are available with 11 capacitance values extending from 1.5 to 470 microF ±20 per cent and five voltage ratings spanning 25 to 80V DC and are rated for operating temperatures extending from -55 to +125 degrees C. They are RoHS-compliant and are lead-free compatible.  

The new range of radial-leaded aluminium electrolytic capacitors is available with ammo or bulk packaging, and lead time for the series is currently 24 weeks.
