3U OpenVPX backplane has five configuration options

Pixus Technologies offers new 3U OpenVPX backplane configurations with up to 16 slots. The embedded computing and enclosure specialist offers the backplane in two, three, six, 13 and 16-slot versions to the VITA 65 specification. There are also some versions aligned to the SOSA (Sensor Open System Architecture) technical standard.

The first in the series of OpenVPX backplanes is a two-slot design with a BKP3-DIS02-15.2.8 routing profile. It supports speeds up to 40GbE and PCIe Gen3 and is suitable for small form factor air transport racks (ATRs), development systems, or other compact systems. The backplanes are available with and without the RTM connectors and VITA 62 power supply slots installed.
