Inline splicing connector affords easy extension or repair, says Wago
A compact Push Wire inline splicing connector has been introduced by Wago. The connector (item number 2773-2401) connects wires in small, confined spaces and is a problem solver when it comes to extending or repairing cables, said the company.
Users need to simply strip the conductor and push it into the unit without tools. The clamping point is quickly and securely connected, said Wago. The inline splicing connector has a length of just 29mm and is suitable for applications up to 32A and for a cross-section range up to 4mm². A recessed grip is designed to be easy to use and ensures optimal grip. The transparent housing means the user can immediately see whether the conductor is inserted correctly into the connector. The test gauge, which is printed on the housing, helps check for the correct strip length quickly and easily.
The Push Wire inline splicing connector is suitable for a variety of uses, for example, to extend a short wire in a flush-mounted junction box, to extend entire lines or repair damaged cables. In the event of a repair, the connector can also be used with a suitable shrink tube in flush-mounted applications by virtue of its maintenance-free spring pressure connection technology. This saves wall space, added Wago.
The company also offers the appropriate repair kit under item number 207-5485/316-00.
