Agile Electronics supplies PCB power transformers from Block
PCB mounted power transformers from Block are now available from Agile Electronics. The transformers are available in a power output range from 0.35 to 50VA.
Block is one of the largest manufacturers of transformers, power supplies, electronic circuit breakers and uninterruptible power supplies, said Agile Electronics. The PCB transformers are vacuum moulded, providing a rugged, reliable and very high proof voltage device. When designed into a PCB mounted product for use as a power transformer they provide safe electrical isolation between power input and output sides, providing the function of an isolating or safety transformer.
Block’s wide range of standard PCB transformers provide a power supply for circuit design, from basic transformers to devices offering absolute or limited short-circuit protection. Key standard features a minimal footprint with high power output, double input and output voltage for series or parallel connections.
The company offers 450 transformer versions from six product ranges. There is the VB series of short-circuit proof PCB transformers. These are available with dual output voltage, input 230 Vac, 6.0 to 24V AC or 0.35 to 3.2VA output.
The AVB series of short-circuit proof encapsulated PCB transformers have an input of two x 115V AC output of two 6.0 to 24V AC, 0.35 to 3.2VA.
The VC series has dual output voltage, input 230V AC, output 6.0 to 24V AC, 3.2 to 16VA and the VCM series transformers have dual output voltage, input 230V AC, output 6.0 to 24V AC and 5.0 to 50VA.
Other options are the FL series low profile and encapsulated transformers with input 2 x 115V AC, output 2 x 5.0 to 24V AC and 2.0 to 52VA- and the PT series of encapsulated transformers with input 230V AC, output 6.0 to 24V AC, 4.5 to 30VA.
