mmWave angled RF connector meets space constraints
Cinch Connectivity Solutions has added an mmWave 30 degree angled RF connector to its range. Available as SMA, 2.92, 2,4 and 1.85mm models, the RF coax connectors are designed for use in applications which require high frequency performance up to 67GHz while delivering signal integrity in demanding environments.
Angled connectors solve the challenges of stress to the minimum bend radius of the mating cable assembly, explained Cinch and this 30 degree solderless connector jack family has been specially designed for use in small enclosures and any environment with tight space constraints. For example, the return loss and insertion loss characteristics make the RF connectors suitable for satellite communication equipment, GPS and phased array antennas, radar systems, automated test equipment and remote monitoring communication. They are suitable for industrial, medical, military and rail markets. The Johnson 30 degree RF connectors join Cinch’s 45 degree angled connector family which was launched in 2021.
The Johnson angled 30 degree RF connectors are available immediately through distributors Digikey, Farnell, Mouser and Newark.
