New MicroLabBox II development system for RCP and HIL applications
The requirements for the capability and versatility of compact development systems for RCP or simple hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) applications are constantly increasing. For this reason, dSPACE has further developed its tried-and-tested MicroLabBox and presents the MicroLabBox II as a new all-in-one development system for laboratories in research, education, and industry. The MicroLabBox II combines high calculation speed and versatility in a compact enclosure.
The powerful quad-core processor enables fast execution of sophisticated Simulink models. In addition, the MicroLabBox II offers a freely programmable FPGA for even faster control loops or sophisticated and high-precision simulation models, for example, for the simulation of electric motors. Comprehensive I/O interfaces fulfil all requirements from developers who want to prototype algorithms. With the dSPACE experiment software ControlDesk, users can access model signals for visualisation and measurement purposes and change model parameters.
MicroLabBox enables you to set up control, test, or measurement applications quickly and easily and implement individual concepts. More than 100 I/O channels of various types make the MicroLabBox II a versatile system that can be implemented not only in mechatronic research and development fields, but also for controller development for electric drives. Further fields of use are the development of power electronics, renewable energies, aerospace, robotics, or medical engineering. In addition to this, the MicroLabBox II can also be used as a simple and quickly deployable HIL system for ECU tests.
The MicroLabBox II is available in a front-panel version and a top-panel version.
