IBASE launches compact edge computer with USB-C 60W power delivery
IBASE Technology has announced the launch of the ACS100, a compact edge computer optimised for automation control and industrial IoT edge applications. The ACS100 features a USB Type-C port supporting DP Alternate Mode with power delivery up to 60W, offering enhanced connectivity flexibility and simplified system integration for demanding deployments.
Powered by Intel Core 3 N355, Atom N150 or N97 processors, the ACS100 delivers competitive processing performance in a compact 167 x 110 x 54 mm form factor. It serves as a scaled-down version of the previously released ACS200 system, providing similar reliability in a smaller, space-efficient design. Its USB-C port supports both data transfer and bidirectional power delivery, effectively reducing cable complexity in confined installations. Peripheral devices such as displays, sensors, or downstream modules can be powered directly through the ACS100’s USB-C PD port, eliminating the need for additional power adapters.
The ACS100 enables connection to high-power, high-brightness industrial monitors ranging from 15.6″ to 27″ via a single USB-C cable. Compatible models include IBASE IPPL-W156, IPPL-W215, and IPPL-W270 industrial-grade monitors. The system supports a 19V to 24V DC power input and provides a rich set of I/O interfaces, including 2x COM, 2x USB 3.2, 4x USB 2.0, 3x M.2 sockets, and 1x Nano SIM slot. Combining compact design, versatile power delivery, and robust I/O connectivity, the ACS100 delivers exceptional performance and flexibility for next-generation edge computing applications.
