Powell now stocks ITT Cannon’s Veam MOVE-MOD connector series hitecture
Now available through Powell Electronics is ITT Cannon’s Veam MOVE-MOD modular connector series, a connector series designed to deliver flexibility, performance, and ease of use for modern power, signal, and data connectivity. Built around a versatile snap-in modular architecture, the MOVE-MOD devices allow engineers to configure a variety of contact layouts within a single connector, enabling the seamless transmission of power, signal, and data through one streamlined interface. This high level of modularity minimises component requirements, reduces installation time, and simplifies system design.
A major advantage of the Veam MOVE-MOD series is its ultra-secure bayonet coupling mechanism, which incorporates a secondary locking feature to ensure connection integrity even in the harshest environments. The connectors are IP67 rated for environmental sealing and employ a durable circular form factor that reduces weight while maximising space efficiency. The series also supports straightforward, toolless assembly and installation, enabling rapid deployment and reduced maintenance effort in the field.
Engineered for demanding applications, Veam MOVE-MOD connectors are well suited for use in rail systems, off-road and specialty vehicles, energy and power distribution equipment, and factory automation environments. The series is available with RoHS-compliant ruggedised plating options, including the Blue Generation (T240) and Black Hard Anodised (T89) finishes, offering long-term durability and corrosion resistance for critical operating conditions.
