Aaeon’s rugged tablet is available from Display Technology
Aaeon’s rugged tablet, the RTC-1020 is now available via Display Technology. According to Display Technology, the tablet sets new standards in rugged computing and is applicable across industries. It is certified to MIL-STD-810H to withstand the harshest conditions, said the company. This MIL-STD-810H certification ensures resilience to intense vibrations, meaning it can be used in industrial and field operations.
The RTC-1020 is powered by 11th Gen Intel Core processors and offers high speed computing with four cores and eight threads through Intel Hyper-Threading Technology. This computing power makes the RTC-1020 able to handle complex applications like mechanical main
tenance devices.
It also has a sunlight-readable 800 nit TFT LCD screen for visibility in outdoor environments regardless of lighting conditions. There is also 8Gbyte of onboard LPDDR4X system memory, data transmission rates for peripheral devices connected to the tablet via LAN, USB 3.2 and display interfaces are included to enhance efficiency and productivity.
It is also equipped with a pre-installed LTE module for immediate wireless connectivity in the field, reducing lead time and maximising productivity. The RTC-1020 supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.1 for data transfer and communication options.
A 5Mpixel front camera and an 8Mpixel rear camera empowers users with the ability to capture UHD images, for field inspection. The rugged tablet’s ergonomic design features six configurable physical keys and is suitable for applications in aerospace, logistics, and field service, where reliability and efficiency are paramount.
