Anglia adds UnitedSiC to its SiC portfolio
A distribution agreement with UnitedSiC leads Anglia Components to offer its full suite of high-performance SiC FETs, JFETs and Schottky diodes to customers in UK and Ireland.
UnitedSiC’s SiC products include the industry’s first UJ4C Gen 4 750V SiC FETs. All UnitedSiC FETs use its cascode technology. This allows the SiC FETs to be drop-in compatible with silicon MOSFETs, IGBTs as well as other SiC MOSFETs, based on the 5V threshold voltage and wide gate operating range of ±20V. These cost-effective SiC FETs can switch at higher frequencies and improve efficiency, claims Anglia, creating either a higher-rated or a smaller design with reduced cooling requirements.

Anglia has made a substantial investment in inventory of UnitedSIC devices, which is available via Anglia Live with no minimum order quantity (MOQ).
UnitedSiC develops SiC FET and diode power semiconductors that, the company claims, deliver the industry’s best SiC efficiency and performance for electric vehicle (EV) chargers, DC/DC converters and traction drives, as well as telecomms/server power supplies variable speed motor drives and solar PV inverters.
