binder saves space with right-angled housing for M12 and M16 connectors

M12 and M16 circular connectors for industrial applications by binder are now available with shielded, two-part, right-angled housings. The 423, 713, 715 and 825 Series have been expanded to include these new options. (The M16 right-angle connector of the 423 Series is shown here.)

The company says its 423, 713, 715 and 825 Series connectors are suitable for applications that require miniature connectors in areas like automation engineering, measuring equipment and control systems. The new right-angle housing increases the potential for use in the future, particularly in the areas of sensor technology, actuators, data transmission and supplying power, says binder.

The right-angle format design is the direct result of the need for ever smaller, space-saving and flexible connector solutions. The format also features an improved sealing concept, together with easier installation in constrained spaces, says binder.

Franz Binder specialises in circular connectors for automation technology. It is a traditional family-owned business, run by the owners. The company headquarters are located in Neckarsulm, Germany. There are 16 affiliated companies, two system service providers and an Innovation & Technology Centre.
