Bourns adds four AEC-Q200-compliant thick film chip resistors
Four AEC-Q200-compliant thick film resistors have been added to Bourns’ portfolio. The CRM-Q, CRS-Q, CMP-Q, CHP-Q resistors’ surge performance and power capabilities make them suitable for current limiters, snubber circuits and balancing and bleeder resistors in automotive, consumer electronics, industrial automation, power supplies, LED lighting and communication base station applications.
The CRM-Q, CRS-Q, CMP-Q and CHP-Q resistors are manufactured using a thick film element printed onto a ceramic substrate, which is claimed to enhance reliability.
The Model CRM-Q series high power resistors and Model CRS-Q series surge withstand resistors are available in three sizes from 1206 (3116 Metric) to 2512 (6432 Metric) with rated power from 0.5 to 2.0W. The Model CMP-Q series pulse power resistors are available in five sizes from 0603 (1608 Metric) to 2512 (6432 Metric) with rated power from 0.25 to 1.5W. The fourth addition, the Model CHP-Q series of high power resistors are available in five sizes from 0603 (1608 Metric) to 1206 (3116 Metric) with rated power from 0.33 to 0.75W.
All four new resistors are available now and are RoHS compliant.
Bourns manufactures and supplies position and speed sensors, circuit protection solutions, magnetic components, microelectronic modules, panel controls and resistive products.
