Compact 150W AC/DC power supply extends SL Power NGB family
A 150W AC/DC power supply has been added to the SL Power NGB family of high efficiency medical and industrial power supplies. Advanced Energy said it combines a compact form factor with enhanced design flexibility.
The NGB150 joins the company’s existing NGB family members, which range from 250 to 1200W. According to the company, it meets the performance, size, reliability and compliance needs of the most demanding mission-critical medical and industrial applications. It complies with IEC 60601-1-2 4th edition covering medical equipment and IEC 62368-1 for industrial applications. Typical operating efficiencies are above 90 per cent in a compact form factor of 102 x 51 x 32mm (4.0 x 2.0 x 1.26 inch). Single DC output voltage options are 12, 15, 19, 24 and 48V and each supply can accommodate inputs from 85 to 264V AC.
The NGB150 has an adjustment range of ±10 per cent, margin programming and an optional 5.0V, 5.0A housekeeping output, all designed to help speed the development of optimised designs, said Advanced Energy. An MTBF in excess of 500,000 hours and the use of high-quality electrolytic capacitors with operating lives over seven years contribute to long-term operation in a range of applications from medical imaging and patient monitoring to industrial automation.
