Cosel adds a 1500W to PJMA series
Developed for medical power applications, Cosel has add a 1500W power supply to its PJMA series. The 1500W PJMA1500F has a universal input range of 85 to 264V AC and complies with international safety standards.
It is suitable for body floating (BF) applications and complies with 2MOPP (two means of patient protection – in/out) and 1MOPP (out/FG) safety requirement. The PJMA series is available in four output voltages of 12, 24, 36 and 48V DC.
The PJMA series can be operated within the so called ‘universal Input’ range of 85 to 264V AC, and has a typical efficiency, up to, 88 per cent at high line.
Four single output voltages are available as standard, 12V/125A, 24V/64A, 36V/42A, and 48V/32A. The output voltage can be adjusted by using the built-in potentiometer.
The PJMA series includes inrush current limiting circuitry, over-current and over-voltage protection, as well a thermal protection. Exhibiting versatility and robustness, the power supplies can be operated in an environmental temperature range of -20 to +70 degrees C. Depending on the final equipment assembly style and cooling conditions, a derating may apply.
All power supplies in the series are approved in accordance with ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 and EN60601-1 3rd Edition.
In conducted emission tests, the PJMA1500F complies with the FCC-A, VCCI-A, CISPR32-A, EN55011-A and EN55032-A.
To accommodate application specific requirements, a number of options are offered including conformal coating (C), low leakage current (G), external potentiometer connector (V), remote control (R), and low speed fan (F4).
The PJMA1500F measures 178 x 61 x 268mm (7.01 x 2.40 x 10.55 inches) and weighs 3.5kg maximum. The power supply is built in an enclosed, galvanized steel box with a fan mounted on the rear side.
With the addition of the PJMA1500F, the entire PJMA series covers from 300W up to 1500W.
The PJMA series has a five-year warranty and conforms to the European RoHS, REACH and Low Voltage Directives.
