Danisense signs global distribution agreement with Farnell

Current sense traducers by Danisense are now available from Farnell, following a global distribution agreement.

Distributor, Farnell is stocking 23 of Danisense’s most popular current sense transducers, plus accessories.

These include current transducers that span 50 to 2,000A and based on Danisense’s closed loop, flux gate sensor technology. This technology is claimed to result in accurate, stable and repeatable measurement. The products are made in Danisense’s Danish facility.

“We believe that Farnell’s broad experience in many different markets and their global presence will help drive our business forward,” commented Loic Moreau, sales and marketing director, Danisense A/S.

Simon Meadmore, vice president of product and supplier management at Farnell was equally pleased with the signing. “We are delighted to add Danisense to our portfolio. This new agreement with Danisense offers a platform to further expand Farnell’s portfolio of high accuracy current transducers for applications like e-mobility, power converters, oscilloscopes, multimeters, medical equipment, battery storage, and much more, to service the needs of our ever growing global customer base.”

Danisense combines complex magnetic performance with advanced electronics to offer efficient and precise transducers to measure AC and DC currents with accuracies down to one part per million (ppm). The company was founded in 2012 and is based in Denmark and Japan. Products have an extremely flat frequency response and outstanding DC stability, said the company.
