DDR5 memory modules offered in commercial and industrial temperatures
DDR5 memory modules in commercial and industrial temperature ranges are being introduced by Memphis Electronic. The company said it is addressing the industry’s increasing demands for AI and IoT applications which require high speed, high capacity memory in industrial applications.
The company has configured DDR5 modules with 16 and 32Gbyte capacities and a clock frequency of 5600MHz. The modules are based on Samsung’s DDR5 chipsets and come in SO-DIMM and UDIMM form factors with and without error correction code (ECC).
Memphis has always configured industrial grade memory modules to support extended product life cycles or deliver highly reliable high-performing memory solutions for industrial PCs and embedded applications, explained Memphis Electronic’s managing director and global head, Marco Mezger. “Working with Samsung, we are now able to deliver modules based on the newest DRAM generation in the high-quality standard,” he added.
To be able to deliver a consistently stable quality, Memphis has always developed its own PCBs and can ensure that its JEDEC standardised modules have a fixed bill of materials over the entire lifespan.
Samples are available in late Q4 advised the company. Visitors to electronica 2022 (15 to 18 November) in Munich, can see samples of the DDR5 modules at the Memphis stand Hall B4-439.
