Excelsys FC15M AC/DC power supply is available from Display Technologies
Advanced Energy’s Excelsys FC1500 series has been designed for medical capacitor charging and AC/DC power supplies and is now available from Display Technology.
The series has been specifically designed to meet the demanding power requirements of medical laser applications, said the company. Included in the series is the FC15M medical capacitor charging power supply which is equipped with a configurable AC/DC power supply.
The FC15M has a capacity of up to 1500W and can provide capacitor charging as well as AC/DC low voltage system power. It also has intelligent control. Other low voltage modules can be added enabling the FC15M to be used to power other systems and applications.
Internal fan cooling ensures optimal thermal management for a consistent performance even in demanding environments, added Display Technology. Pulse-to-pulse stability delivers precise power for medical laser applications and the MTBF is over 900,000 hours. The FC15M also features level 4 input surge protection, ensuring the safety of the connected equipment.
The module meets medical standards, including IEC60601-1 3rd edition and IEC60601-1-2 4th edition (EMC).
The PMBus interface allows the power supply to support analogue and digital management, for advanced monitoring and control functionality.
The capacitor charger has a voltage range of 0 to 1000V DC and the AC/DC power supply has an output of up to 800W and support for up to 10 isolated outputs. There is also user power limit control for customisation options.
