Farnell element14 commits to broad range of test equipment

Distributor, Farnell element14, has added to its test and tool range with products from suppliers Flir, Fluke, Pico Technology and Weller.

According to the company, the expansion demonstrates Farnell element14’s commitment to offering the broadest range of test and tool equipment in the high-service distribution market. “We are committed to saving our customers’ time and money by supporting them throughout their product journey – from design and prototyping to testing and maintenance – all in one place” said James McGregor, head of test and tools at Premier Farnell and Farnell element14.

New products added to Farnell element14’s range include: Pico Technology PicoScope 5000D series. The FlexRes oscilloscope are capable of handling a variety of signal types and provide eight to 16 bits of vertical resolution, up to 200MHz bandwidth and 1 Gsample per second. Advanced features include mask limit testing, serial decoding, automatic measurements, math channels and segmented memory, plus free and regularly updated software.

Another addition is the Fluke RSE300 and RSE600 infra red cameras. These mounted infra red cameras are available with 320 x 240 and 640 x 480 resolution options for research, science and engineering standard image quality. MATLAB and LabVIEW software compatibility allows users to integrate infra red data, images and videos to support R&D analysis, while automatically focused images reduce the potential for errors and misdiagnosis.

There is also the Flir Systems One Pro LT. This can identify hidden problems faster than ever, says Farnell element14, with enhanced resolution and added perspective of this pro-grade thermal camera for smartphones. Features include image processing technology to enhance accuracy, an adjustable connector and an app offering work-based features such as multiple spot meters, level/span controls and advanced reporting.

Finally, there is the Weller WT2M two-channel soldering station. At 150W, the WT2M soldering station is the latest addition to Weller’s WT line, offering backwards compatibility with existing soldering tools and a comprehensive range of accessories.

Farnell element14’s broad product range is backed up with service and support. “With the largest in-stock range of test and tool equipment in the high service industry we provide a local experience on a global level, saving our customers time and money while delivering top quality products and total peace of mind,” said McGregor.
