Fast charging power bank has magnetic wireless charging function
Two USB-C and USB-A ports in the PD100W power bank allow for four devices to be wirelessly charged simultaneously. Developed by Excitrus, it is believed to be the only 100W power bank available with a magnetic wireless charging function for MagSafe.
The power bank has a fabric finish and a large 20800mAh Li-ion battery which delivers fast 100W Power Delivery (PD) via the two USB-C ports to charge MacBooks, laptops and Samsung phones in the shortest time possible, said Excitrus. It cites charging times of 60 per cent in one hour for laptops and 85 per cent charge of smartphones in one hour.
The 100W power bank also features a 10W MagSafe-compatible wireless charging option for smartphones, iPods and other wireless devices. According to the company, this is not available on other power banks with this power delivery range.
The power bank can also be sued to charge Apple watches or ear buds, via a special low power device charging mode with eight levels of safety protection to ensure all devices will not overheat or overcharge.
The digital display on the power bank shows the power remaining and the charging mode status with icons. A fast charging mode (over 18W), low power Bluetooth device charging and wireless charging modes are indicated with a set of icons. The 65W PD fast charging USB-C input enables the power bank to be recharged 0 to 70 per cent in one hour.
The power bank weighs 480g (16.93oz) and has dimensions of 113 x 222 x 48mm (7.68 × 3.35 × 1.02 inches).
