Fischer Elektronik expands aluminium cases for benches

Fischer Elektronik has expanded the AKG D series of miniature aluminum cases, with the addition of two new case sizes, the AKG D 41 20 and AKG D 55 20.

The cases have two aluminum profiles, which are fitted precisely against each other and fixed using the screw-on front plate.

The seals are mounted between the cover plates and the profiles. They serve not only as a design element, but thanks to their non-slip properties, the AKG D models can be used safely as a bench case.

Guide grooves in the profiles allow for the insertion of non-standard PCBs or other components in various sizes, as well as accommodating 100mm wide Euro cards.

There are nine case sizes in the AKG D series, suitable for numerous applications, says Fischer Elektronik.

The two additions have exterior dimensions of 41.3 x 20mm for the AKG D 41 20 and 55 x 20mm for the AKG D 55 20.

The standard lengths for the AKG D cases are 50, 80 and 100mm and the cases are available in natural colour anodised and black anodised surface finishes.

The standard colour of the seals is cobalt blue (similar to RAL 5013), but the AKG D cases can also be made in other colours on request. The case profiles and the cover panels can also be individually machined and labelled.
