FORTEC Group enters maritime data visualisation market with acquisition of Nottrot B.V.

FORTEC Elektronik AG, has completed the acquisition of Nottrot B.V., a Dutch manufacturer of high-performance display systems designed for harsh and mission-critical environments.

This acquisition marks a significant strategic expansion for the FORTEC Group, unlocking new capabilities in maritime data visualisation and reinforcing its market position across defence and industrial sectors.

Nottrot B.V., founded in 2000 and headquartered in Oosterhout, the Netherlands, specialises in the design and manufacture of rugged monitors for maritime navigation, military command systems, and industrial control interfaces. Its product range includes DNV-approved displays, engineered for extreme reliability in environments subject to vibration, saltwater exposure, and wide temperature variations.

With this addition to the Group, FORTEC United Kingdom gains access to proven expertise in marine-grade electronics, complementing its existing offering in ruggedised TFT display assemblies, embedded computing, optical bonding, and touchscreen integration.
