ISM LNA reference design by ADI is now available from Mouser

The CN0534 low noise amplifier (LNA) receiver is a reference design for 5.8GHz ISM (industrial, scientific and medical) applications by Analog Device (ADI). It is now available from Mouser Electronics.

The CN0534 circuit provides high gain, robust over power monitoring and protection, in a small footprint. It is designed for use in 5.8 GHz ISM band applications, where low signal strength or distance may be a complication.

The LNA receiver reference design is a high-performance RF receiver system with +23dB of gain, optimised for operation at a centre frequency of 5.8GHz. The input is unfiltered, maintaining a noise figure of 2.0dB. A bandpass filter at the output attenuates out-of-band interferers.

The CN0534 circuit includes a high speed over power detector and switch that protects sensitive downstream equipment connected to the receiver system. The receiver system automatically returns to regular operation when the RF power level drops within the acceptable range. The RF inputs and outputs are standard SMA connectors and reference design is powered from a single Micro-USB connector.
