Linx Technologies adds linear antenna with GNSS antenna to Splatch family
Expanding the Splatch family of surface mount, embedded global navigation satellite system (GNSS) antenna, Linx Technologies has added a model with global navigation satellite system (GNSS) antenna supporting GPS, Galileo, GLONAAS, Beidou and QZSS systems in the L1/E1/B1 bands.
The ANT-GNL1-nSP antenna joins the embedded PCB antenna portfolio by Linx Technologies, which includes the uSP410, the SP610 and the nSP250. According to Rick Stuby, vice president of product management the antenna’s high performance in a compact surface mount package make it especially well-suited for small devices in the IoT market. Dimensions are 10 mm x 8.0 x 1.0mm.
The antenna features linear polarisation and an omni-directional radiation pattern. Linx Technologies supplies it in tape and reel packaging for reflow-solder mounting directly to a PCB for high-volume applications.
The ANT-GNL1-nSP GNSS antennas are available now from Linx Technologies’ distributor and manufacturer representative networks.
Linx Technologies strives to minimise the risk, delays, and technical challenges for design engineers to make products wireless and to support them to connect these products to the IoT. Linx manufactures wireless components including antennas, RF connectors and cables, RF modules, and remote controls.
Linx is owned by TE Connectivity. Its broad range of connectivity and sensor products, proven in the harshest environments, enable advancements in transportation, industrial applications, medical technology, energy, data communications and the home. TE has over 8,000 engineers, working alongside customers in approximately 140 countries.
