Low profile industrial computer offers 4K displays support
A low-profile encased industrial computer from Winsystems has full 4K display support and a processing performance based on the Intel E3900 processor.
The SYS-427 is in a compact, ruggedised packaging, designed to withstand punishing thermal, shock and vibration demands, says Winsystems.
It is designed for operation in extreme operating temperatures and environments and is in a rugged aluminum enclosure that measures 165 x 115 x 35mm or 6.5 x 4.5 x 1.38 inches. Within this chassis is a Winsystems’ SBC35-427 SBC single board computer (SBC), dual Gigabit Ethernet controllers, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports and dual DisplayPort outputs. Mini-Card and M.2 connectors provide additional expansion options.
Suitable for Windows 10 IoT and Linux operating systems, the SYS-427 embedded computing platform supports 15-year product life cycle solutions for digital signage, industrial IoT, energy management and transportation applications, says Winsystems. It operates at temperatures of -40 to +85 degrees C. The SYS-427 is designed and tested to operate without throttling performance or needing an external heatsink or fans.
The rugged SYS-427 SBC withstands the shock and vibration demands of industrial environments and accommodates DC power inputs ranging from 10 to 50V DC.
The Trusted Platform Modules (TPM) 2.0 device is soldered on board to authenticate root of trust and enable security.
