Mouser ships compact Archer .5 board-to-board connectors
Harwin’s compact mezzanine connectors in the Archer.5 range are now available from Mouser Electronics. The 0.5mm board-to-board connectors are available with 30, 40, 80 and 100 pin count options. The contacts offer a current carrying capacity of 0.5A each.
The operating temperature range is between -55 to +85 degrees C, and the board-to-board stack height is 8.0mm. Polarisation features ensure the correct orientation and alignment to prevent mis-mating, said Mouser, while shrouding protects contacts from accidental damage.
The 0.5mm pitch connectors’ materials are compliant with RoHS and REACH SVHC and are also halogen-free. Applications include compact control / monitoring equipment, embedded computing, sensor modules, camera / lidar units and IoT-connected devices.
