Mouser supports robotic development with Kria KR260 robotics starter kit
Distributor Mouser Electronics is now stocking the Kria KR260 robotics starter kit from Xilinx / AMD. The kit offers industrial vision and real time networking interfaces in order for developers of robotic systems to simplify their workflows when using the Kria K26 system on module (SoM).
The Kria KR260 starter kit supports a range of robotics, machine vision and industrial communication and control applications.
It includes a pre-installed Kria K26 SoM using two 240-pin connectors and I/Os for sensor and network connectivity. For industrial vision, it has an SLVS-EC Rx, DisplayPort 1.2a and four USB 3.0 ports for camera interfaces.
The kit’s real time networking interfaces include four RJ45 Ethernet ports and one SFP+ optics interface for 10GE vision. There is also native ROS 2 and Ubuntu support along the Kria Robotics Stack (KRS), all designed to support roboticists and embedded developers alike, said Mouser.
The Kria KR260 Robotics starter kit can be easily adapted and scaled using Pmod and Raspberry Pi headers. With a broad Pmod ecosystem, the kit can extend to any sensor or interface.
