Multiport Mini-SMP cables and connectors offer solderless mounting
Multiport Mini-SMP Cable assemblies and PCB connectors in the Multiport Mini-SMP system can be mounted solderless on to PCBs, says Rosenberger.
The PCB connectors are claimed to offer superior signal integrity for all kinds of PCBs and can be connected with Mini-SMP – RPC-2.92 cable assemblies for frequencies DC to 40GHz, or with Mini-SMP – RPC-1.85 cable assemblies for frequencies up to 65GHz. The system is available with eight or 16 channels.
The Multiport Mini-SMP system is designed to be solderless and easy to assemble, using screws. The system offers reusability, with a high number of mating cycles, low abrasion, damage-free connection and is compatible with a standard Mini-SMP interface.
They are particularly suitable for challenging test and measurement applications, said Rosenberger, such as semiconductor test equipment testing, system testing or applications where the device under test (DUT) changes frequently.
Rosenberger manufactures impedance-controlled and optical interconnect products for use in high-frequency, high-voltage and fibre-optic technology.
Its product range covers RF coaxial connectors, components and accessories, RF measurement products as well as cable assemblies for mobile communication networks, data centres, industrial test and measurement, automotive electronics as well as for high voltage contact systems, medical and industrial electronics and aerospace engineering.
The custom machining division manufactures customer-specific precision parts from all machinable materials for various industries such as the automotive and commercial vehicle industry, ship building or classic mechanical and plant engineering.
Worldwide, the Rosenberger Group operates manufacturing and assembly locations and Rosenberger sales offices in Europe, Asia and North and South America. The Rosenberger Group’s headquarters is in Fridolfing, Germany. The family-owned company was founded in 1958.
