Nexperia adds MJD bipolar transistors that are AEC-Q101-qualified

Automotive-qualified and consumer/industrial-qualified MJD bipolar transistors up to 8A have been added by Nexperia to its portfolio.

The MJD 3A and 8A power bipolar transistors include eight parts housed in the DPAK (TO-252 or SOT428C) package and offered in both 80V and 100V NPN and PNP versions.

They have been added to Nexperia’s existing high-performance bipolar power transistors in the space-saving LFPAK56 package.

Applications for the MJD bipolar transistors include LED automotive lighting, backlight dimming in LCD displays, linear voltage regulators, relay replacement, motor drives, laser printers and MOSFET drivers.

Nexperia specialises in high-volume production of discrete and MOSFET components together with analogue and logic ICs that meet the stringent standards set by the automotive industry.

The company produces over 90 billion semiconductors annually. It has office and employees across Asia, Europe and the US.

The company has an extensive IP portfolio and is certified to IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
