OKdo and RS rock an A5 board with discount for limited period
The Rock single board computer is manufactured by OKdo and distributed by RS. The 5A board is designed to meet the demands of engineers, developers, educators, inventors and entrepreneurs.
The first 5,000 will be available with a 25 per cent discount. OKdo offers the SBCs in 4Gbyte, 8Gbyte and 16Gbyte versions.
The Rock 5A takes its predecessor’s functionality and fits it on the industry’s common SBC form factor. These include an 8k output, an octa-core processor and an AI accelerator. It is claimed to be the only SBC available in this form factor with 16Gbyte of memory.
The Rock 5A will run Linux v5.10 Kernel, supporting Ubuntu, Debian, openFyde OS, Armbian, RebornOS, Android 12 and later. The software can be downloaded from Customers can download the software from OKdo’s website and there is support from the DesignSpark community.
The Rock 5A can be used for embedded processes such as electric vehicle (EV) charging, automatic manufacturing, digital signage and agricultural technology.

OKdo also offers the Rock 5B which has 8k output, octa-core processor, power on/off and built-in real time clock, and the RK3588 Rockchip.
