OKW enhances Evotec with flat and sloping lids
Table-top electronic enclosures in the Evotec range from OKW are now available in a new smaller 100 size. This addition increases the range to four plan sizes.
Ergonomic Evotec is comfortable to use but tough enough for challenging working environments. Applications include measurement and control engineering, IT, medical, laboratory and environmental technology. The enclosure can also be wall mounted for access control.
Evotec is available in two versions. One has a large flat top for switches, push buttons and touch displays, the other has a 12 degree inclined top for desktop applications. The sloping top version can be specified either with or without a recess for a membrane keypad or product label.
The new 100 size and the recently launched 150 size are available only with the flat top.
All Evotec enclosures have screw pillars both in the top and base for installing PCBs. Self-adhesive rubber feet ensure stability on flat surfaces. The enclosures are assembled using Torx assembly screws to prevent tampering making them suitable for medical electronics.
Evotec’s soft contours are moulded from UV-stable ASA+PC-FR (UL 94 V-0). The four plan sizes, 100 x 62, 150 x 93, 200 x 124mm and 250 x 155mm, are available in off white (RAL 9002) as standard. .
Accessories include an optional IP 65 seal, wall suspension elements and self-tapping screws for installing PCBs.
OKW can supply Evotec customised on request. Services include custom colours, EMC shielding, CNC machining, lacquering, screen/tampo or digital printing of legends and logos, installation and assembly of accessories.
