Outdoor antennas are IP-rated
Nine IP67-rated dipole antennas have been released by Linx Technologies. The compact and rugged outdoor antennas are suitable for use in a range of applications, including 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E, cellular IoT (LTE-M, NB-IoT), LPWA, ISM, C-V2X, DSRC, CBRS, and remote control.
The IPW antennas are IP67-rated, making them well-suited for outdoor and industrial conditions. Each IPW antenna provides a ground plane independent dipole antenna. There are seven rugged, straight whip-style, N-connector antennas for use in permanent outdoor wireless routers, private cellular networks, and IoT installations. The other two are SMA connector-mount, hinged 868MHz and 915MHz antennas supporting LPWA applications such as LoRaWAN. They can be used across a variety of weather conditions, said Linx.
The company offers other IP-rated and weather resistant antennas, but the IPW series provides an added level of robustness, explained CEO, Tolga Latif, by combining IP capability with sturdy N-connector attachment and compact housing that reduces the likelihood of accidental damage.
The IP-rated outdoor antennas are available now via Linx Technologies’ distributor and manufacturer representative networks.
