Retrofittable snap ferrites are AEC-Q200-qualified
Würth Elektronik has developed the WE-CAR-TEC snap ferrites, adding to its retrofittable interference suppression portfolio. The AEC-Q200-qualified snap ferrites feature a NiZn core material and suppress electromagnetic interference (EMI) in the frequency range from 1MHz to 1GHz.
The internal security locking system prevents unauthorised removal from the cable. The WE-STAR-KEY technology ensures the ferrite is reusable making it suitable for test and measuring purposes in the EMC lab. Each packaging unit comes with a WE-STAR-KEY to open the snap ferrites.
The WE-CAR-TEC snap ferrites for automotive design are available in four cable diameters ranging from 3.5 to 8.5mm. The plastic housing is UL94-V0 classified and the snap ferrites operate at temperatures ranging from -50 to +105 degrees C.
WE-CAR-TEC is available from stock, free samples are available.
