RS Group continues global brand unification with rebranding of Allied Electronics & Automation in the Americas to RS

RS Group plc has announced the rebrand of its main trading brand in the Americas, Allied Electronics & Automation, to RS. The rebranding is RS Group’s latest effort to consolidate the product offer, service portfolio and proven experience of its trusted global brands under a single unified RS brand identity.

Customers extending from small single-site businesses to global multi-site companies will continue to enjoy access to a broad and deep range of more than 750,000 stocked industrial and electronic products and a wide portfolio of service solutions for design, procurement, inventory, and maintenance. The increased global collaboration enabled by the rebrand will also elicit new opportunities to help customers overcome challenges and further enhance the company’s user-friendly, technology-enabled customer experience across the region.

David Egan, Acting CEO of RS Group plc, commented: “Extending the RS brand in the Americas is an exciting milestone for the Group and for our people who can now truly feel part of one brand, one team and one culture. As we continue to bring our businesses together under one strong, unified global brand, we see greater opportunities for us to unlock our global efficiency and enable scalability to help deliver our journey to greatness.”

The continued unification of the RS brand will present opportunities for the Group to increase its share of a large, fragmented market, drive continued market outperformance, and accelerate organic growth. The increased global collaboration will also fuel environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives aimed at creating a more sustainable and inclusive world.
