Seggers provides J-Link support for the latest TDK-Micronas SoC series
The J-Link debug probe by Segger now supports TDK-Micronas’ HVC 5x SoC series. The latest hardware versions of all commercial Segger J-Link models ( J-Link PRO, J-Link Ultra+, J-Link Plus and J-Link Base) now support high-speed download and debugging of these cores via JTAG and Arm’s Serial Wire Debug (SWD).
“Segger was not only quick to support our new SoCs but has also outperformed the competition in more than one case,” said Berko Kletzander, product line manager for motor control ICs from TDK-Micronas.
Segger’s J-Link features a download speed of up to 4Mbytes per second and the ability to set an unlimited number of breakpoints in the flash memory of microcontrollers. J-Link comes with free software and firmware updates. All supported devices can be used without the need to buy an additional license, added Segger.
The TDK-Micronas core support has already been added to the J-Link software pack, which is available for download from the Segger website.
TDK-Micronas has over 85 years of industry experience and has over 250 sites in over 30 countries for R&D, manufacturing and sales of electronics components and services. TDK-Micronas, in Freiburg, Germany, is the TKD centre of excellence for magnetic-field sensors and CMOS integration within the TDK group.
