Skyworks announces new family of jitter attenuator clocks
Skyworks has announced the SKY63101/02/03 family of jitter attenuator clocks for high-speed networking, communications and data centre equipment driving today’s Internet infrastructure.
In a 9x9mm LGA package with 5 clock inputs and 16 clock outputs the new SKY63101/02/03 addresses applications that require the best-in-class jitter performance, featuring an integrated BAW resonator reference and flash memory.
The SKY63101/02/03 jitter attenuator clocks combine the latest sixth-generation DSPLL and MultiSynth technologies with an ultra-low noise 13 GHz voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) and a 2.5 GHz BAW resonator to deliver 42 fs RMS jitter (12kHz -20MHz int) clocks for high-speed applications, including 112G/224G PAM-4 SerDes that are used in 400G/600G/800G/1.2T/1.6T Ethernet communications equipment.
Suited for applications that demand the highest level of integration and jitter performance, all of these PLL components are integrated on-chip, eliminating the risk of noise coupling associated with discrete solutions.
