Small, boxed industrial computer offers dual Ethernet
The SYS-ITX-N-3900 is a compact ITX-N-3900 industrial computer from WinSystems which offers dual Ethernet.
The small-form- factor Nano-ITX single board computer is built on the Intel E3900 processor to offer significantly more processing power than previous generations, says WinSystems. It can support Windows 10 IoT and Linux operating systems and sustain the long product life cycles required for industrial IoT, energy management and medical design, adds the company.
The SYS-ITX-N-3900 includes a mix of processor and I/O capabilities, including dual gigabit Ethernet controllers, two USB 3.0 channels and one RS-232/422/485 serial port. It offers added security with its soldered-down TPM 2.0 module for authenticating root of trust.
The packaged system can be configured to satisfy disparate application requirements. Half-size Mini-Card slots and M.2 connectors provide additional expansion options.
The system is encased in a rugged aluminium enclosure measuring just 150 x 150 x 60mm high. It is designed for mounting in tight spaces and includes a mounting kit for a 2.5-inch SATA SSD.
The SYS-ITX-N-3900 embedded computing platform delivers reliable, fanless operation in a wide temperature range, from -20 to +60 degrees.
Input ranges from 12 to 24V DC, which makes it suitable for operation in harsh industrial environments.
