u-blox launches JODY-B1 Bluetooth module enabling new infotainment use cases

u-blox have introduced JODY-B1, an automotive-qualified Bluetooth module designed to support multiple simultaneous Bluetooth Dual-Mode (Classic + LE) connections for infotainment applications.

As vehicles evolve into connected entertainment environments, JODY-B1 enables every passenger to pair personal devices – headsets, gaming controllers, and more – without interference or added system complexity.

Powered by the Snapdragon Auto Connectivity Platform and the automotive-grade Qualcomm QCA8695AU chipset, JODY-B1 provides wireless connectivity in a compact 13.8 × 19.8 mm form factor. With LE Audio support, an extended operating temperature up to 105 °C, a host-based UART interface, and global certifications (FCC, RED, ISED , UKCA, Bluetooth SIG), the module simplifies integration and accelerates development for OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.

As part of the established u-blox JODY module family, JODY-B1 ensures design consistency, scalability, and long-term availability across generations of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth solutions – helping reduce engineering effort, streamline qualification, and support reliable mass-production lifecycles.
