VITA-62-compliant power supply is designed for conduction-cooled chassis systems
Vicor Power Systems has developed a 6U VITA-62-compliant power supply for MIL-COTS VPX applications, based on its high density, high efficiency ChiP power modules.
The VIT028x6U1000y000 VITA-62-compliant power supply is designed for 6U OpenVPX conduction-cooled chassis systems. It operates from a nominal 28V input with pre-defined output voltages ranging from 3.3 to 12V and delivering up to 1000W of power. Different output voltages or power levels can be requested for a customised power supply to meet specifications.
The new 6U supply fully meets MIL-461F, MIL-704F, and MIL-1275E standards. See data sheet for compliance information.
It joins the company’s VITA portfolio of 3U power supplies, the VIT270w3U600yzzz (270V) and VIT028x3U600y000 (28V). The 3U power supplies measure 6.6 x 3.9 x 0.9-inches or 168 x 99 x 23mm and the 6U VIT028x6U1000y000 VITA-62-compliant power supply measures 6.6 x 9.2 x 0.9-inches or 168 x 234 x 23mm.
