W+P adds five connector ranges for wire options
Five product ranges have been added to the connectors available from W+P Products.
The 499, 570, 589, 5113 and 5265 connectors meet the demand for the particularly small pitches of the friction lock wire-to-wire/ wire-to-board products, says W+P. The connectors are offered as male (on PCB/wire) and female (on wire) headers, female housings and contacts and start at a pitch of just 1.0mm, in horizontal or vertical alignment and some are equipped with locking.
The contact material is copper alloy and the insulator is made of thermoplastic according to UL94 V-0. There are various finishes available and the connectors are designed for cable cross sections ranging from AWG 34 to AWG 22. The number of contacts varies between two and 50.
Applications for the space-saving, secure wire-to-board and wire-to-wire systems are for power and signal operation in embedded, industrial electronics, lighting and measurement as well as control technology.
W+P will develop and manufacture customer-specific connectors on request.
Samples of the wire-to-board and wire-to-wire products are available on request and free of charge.
