Würth Elektronik eiSos adds VDRM MagI³C power modules

Integrating a power stage, regulator and inductor in a single package, the MagI³C VDRM is a DC/DC voltage converter from Würth Elektronik eiSos. The latest addition to the MagI³C power module family is in a TO263-7EP package. The input voltage range of the converter covers 6.0 to 42V to allow conversion from the 9.0, 12 or 24V industry bus.

There are two modules for 1.0 and 3.0A with an adjustable output voltage in the 0.8 to 6.0V range. The robust modules can be operated at an ambient temperature up to 105 degree C. They are characterised by high efficiency up to 97 per cent. The easy-to-solder TO263-7EP package measures 10.16 x 13.77 x 4.57mm.
