100mm board hosts Intel 11th Generation Xeon/Core processors
With dimensions of just 4.53 x 6.50 inch (115 x 165mm), the Epic-TGH7 is the latest single board computer (SBC) from Aaeon. Equipped with the Intel 11th Generation Xeon/Core processors, it offers eight cores and 16 threads to increase processing speed and power for intensive, high end computing.
The design has not sacrificed power efficiency, said Aaeon, and provides up to 45W with Xeon-level performance.
Hosting up to eight USB ports, dual LAN ports, and a PCIe[x8] slot, the Epic-TGH7 enables PCIe4.0 speeds of up to 16Gtransfers per second.
According to Aaeon, the I/O density and high speed expansion will be particularly applicable to healthcare imaging and military defence applications, which require advanced graphics.
Other potential applications are digital signage. The Epic-TGH7 provides four simultaneous displays via an I/O featuring HDMI, VGA, dual channel 24/48bit LVDS, and DP ports.
