8.0-inch WVGA TFT suits industrial and medical applications
Displays and embedded systems from Review Display Systems (RDS) now include the 8.0-inch P-series TFT displays from Tianma.
The P0800WVF1MA00 has WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) resolution, a 15:9 wide aspect ratio, an extended operating temperature range and consistent colour image reproduction, says RDS.
The P (for Professional) series of TFT display modules are designed for industrial and medical display applications. They have a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a white LED backlight, complete with integrated driver. Brightness is 1000cd/m² and half brightness lifetime is specified at 100,000 hours. The displays also have a wide viewing angle of 88 degrees, supported in all directions (left, right and up, down) for viewing in all directions.
The 20-pin LVDS data interface supports 8-bit RGB which enables a colour palette of up to 16.7M colours. The 8.0-inch display module features mechanical outline dimensions of 192 x 122 x 10.5mm and an active display area of 174 x 104.4mm. Operating temperature range is -30 to +80 degrees C.
Tianma’s P series TFT display modules are suitable for varied applications including industrial process control, in-vehicle systems, factory automation, point of sale (PoS), digital signage, and medical equipment.
