AC/DC modules from Recom are durable for IoT use
Recom has added the RAC04-K/277 to its low power AC/DC portfolio. The durable modules in the series carry full certifications for household and ITE applications and are characterised by 4kV isolation, 150 per cent peak power capability and -40 to +90 degrees C operating temperature.
The RAC04-K/277 series delivers 4.0W of continuous output power in harsh environments worldwide at up to 5000m altitude. They also feature a peak load capability of up to 150 per cent for dynamic power demands. The modules deliver full load output power from -40 to +75 degrees C across the entire input range of 80 to 305V AC and are certified for operation with power derating up to 90 degrees C air ambient.
The international safety certifications for industrial, domestic, ITE and household applications make these some of the most versatile power modules to date, says Recom. The fully encapsulated AC/DC modules do not need external components in support of Ecodesign Lot 6 standby mode operation for worldwide applications in automation, industry 4.0, IoT, household and home automation.
They also have a reinforced class II installation rating for floating outputs and a wide margin to class B emissions compliance without external components.
Samples and OEM pricing are available from all authorised distributors or directly from Recom.
