Display Technology fills the void for 8.4-inch TFT displays
Display Technology announces availability of Distec’s 8.4-inch high bright TFT display. It has an integrated LED driving board and is designed to replace Mitsubishi’s AA0840XE11 display which ceased production last year.
The 8.4-inch TFT-LCD module offers a brightness of 1000cd/m2 and a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. It has a viewing angle of 160/160 degrees making it easy to read content from all sides, says Display Technology. The operating temperature range is -30 to +80 degrees C.
The DD-0840-XE11-C has an active areas of 170.496 x 127.872mm and overall dimensions of 199.5 x 149.0 x 9.7mm. The versatile display is suitable for transportation, military and instrumentation applications. It will be available from April 2021, advises Display Technology.
