Omni Pro Electronics releases AEC-Q200 surface mount capacitors

AEC-Q200 automotive-grade, surface mount, aluminium electrolytic capacitors by NIC Components are available from Omni Pro Electronics. The high-CV hybrid capacitors are offered in five case sizes measuring from 6.3 x 6.3mm to 10 x12.8mm (depth x height). The NSPE-HC series features high capacitance per case size, from 56 to 560 microF in voltage ratings of 25 and 35V DC over wide operating temperatures (-55 to +105 degrees C). Load life rating is 5,000 hours at +105 degrees C.

The hybrid construction (polymer and liquid electrolyte) results in high ripple current ratings (up to 4A rms / 100kHz), low ESR and high reliability, said Omni Pro Electronics. The NIC Components NSPE-HC series can be specified for use in automotive, enterprise-level equipment and telecommunications / datacomms (ICT) infrastructure equipment applications.

The NSPE-HC series’ large capacitance value per case size supports smaller circuit designs, reduced part count and lower PCB costs, added Omni Pro Electronics.

The SMT cylindrical V-chip construction is halogen-free, RoHS and REACH-compliant and compatible with +260 degree C peak Pb-free reflow soldering processes. The capacitors are also available with wide anti-vibration terminations.

Omni Pro Electronics is a franchised distributor and supplies the full line of NIC components capacitors, magnetics, resistive products, circuit protection, RF products, connectors and cables and relays.

Omni Pro Electronics is based in Addison, Texas, USA. The franchised distributor stocks electronic components with an inventory of industrial control and board-level components used in a broad array of industrial, commercial and aerospace/defence applications. Specialising in interconnect, electromechanical and passive components, it is a member of ECIA (Electronics Component Industry Association) and of ERAI (Electronic Resellers Association International).
