iBASE launches new motherboard for industrial edge computing
iBASE has launched the PI800 PICO-ITX motherboard, a compact yet powerful solution designed for space-constrained industrial and edge computing applications. Powered by onboard Intel Atom x7000RE series processors, it delivers an optimal balance of performance and power efficiency, enabling reliable deployment in space-limited edge environments, making it ideal for industrial automation, smart retail, and embedded control systems.
The PICO-ITX form factor (100mm x 72mm) enables seamless integration into small enclosures and embedded systems without sacrificing performance. Supporting up to 16GB DDR5 memory, the PI800 ensures responsive multitasking and data processing for modern industrial workloads. To meet diverse system integration needs, the PI800 offers comprehensive connectivity, including dual 2.5GbE LAN ports, USB 3.2 interfaces, COM ports (RS232/422/485), and SATA storage support.
