Honeywell’s LVDT is a pre-validated, configurable platform that provides continuous position monitoring. Single channel, dual channel and dual tandem products in this range accommodate a variety of configurations and applications, including flight controls, engines, nose wheel steering and pilot controls. Honeywell LVDTs reduce installation time thanks to rig point position, which eliminates the need to shim during installation. Enhanced reliability is assured through industry-leading design and winding techniques and high strength materials, which reduce mean time between failure (MTBF). Honeywell LVDTs have a minimum life cycle of one million hours mean MTBF, reports Aerco.
Technical specifications include accuracy of ±0.5 per cent of the full stroke gain from 0 to 100 per cent of the LVDT stroke at 21 degree C. Normal operating pressure is 2,000 psi and vibration is 60G at 5.0 to 2000Hz. Current consumption is 11mA maximum.
