Aetina introduces carrier board for Jetson Nano for AI at the edge

For edge artificial intelligence of things (AIoT), Aetina has developed the AN110, an exclusive carrier board for the Jetson Nano. It has a small form factor and offers an extension for a 4K camera for general purpose graphics processing and AI computing applications.

The AN110 is intended for artificial intelligence (AI) operations which demand high computing power with low power consumption and a small form factor.

The AN110 delivers 472 GFLOPS of computing performance and operates as low as 5W and a maximum of 10W. It is claimed to be the smallest intelligent platform for the Nvidia series, measuring just 87 x 67mm. Despite its size, it is equipped with multiple I/O, including one HDMI Type A, one RJ-45 for GbE, two USB3.2 Gen1 Type-A, five general purpose I/O (GPIO) and one DC-in 12V. Moreover, AN110 supports one 4K or one full high definition (FHD) camera for machine vision requirements. It can therefore be used for vision-critical AI and also as an intellectual gateway, advises Aetina.

Aetina was founded in Taiwan in 2012, as a long-term support provider of high-performance general purpose graphics processing units (GPGPUs) and Jetson edge AI computing solutions for embedded applications. The company focuses on the industrial market, providing industrial components and longevity of service. The company is also an integrator of the artificial intelligence of things (AIoT) market, offering customers reliable GPUs and design support to solve problems.
