Anglia signs distribution agreement with ABL for thermal management

Anglia Components has expanded its range of thermal management components including board mount, extruded and BGA heatsinks following a distribution agreement for the UK and Ireland with Birmingham-based manufacturer, ABL Aluminium Components.

David Pearson, technical director of Anglia, commented: “This not only expands our standard product range, but also gives us access to a top quality UK manufacturer that is able to offer customisation options to suit customers’ specific design or production requirements.”

Anglia is supporting the new line with an inventory profile of the most popular heatsinks which are available from Anglia Live. Anglia offers customisation options with ABL components, including non-standard lengths, milling and drilling options and application of thermal transfer materials and adhesive pads to assist production teams during the assembly process.

ABL Aluminium Components specialises in the fabrication, finishing and assembly of aluminium extrusions. The company operates from a 5000m2 facility in Birmingham, England, and has been supplying the electronics industry globally for over 44 years.

Anglia is a UK, independent, authorised distributor of semiconductors, optoelectronics, interconnect, and passive and electromechanical components. A signatory of the ADS SC21 programme, the company holds AS9120, ISO9001 and ISO14001 accreditations.
