Arrow Electronics DDS IMD Technologies’ SoMs
Following an agreement signed with IMD Technologies, Arrow Electronics offers its system on modules (SoMs) which are based on NXP processors. They are intended for artificial intelligence (AI), real time video processing and 3D capabilities, advises Arrow.
The agreement allows Arrow to distribute IMD Technologies’ SoM series worldwide.
The modules are based on NXP i.MX 8 Plus applications processors and are customisable in terms of hardware and software. OEMs and integrators can therefore create and deploy advanced, power-efficient 3D imaging, computer vision, and IoT on-edge devices.
IMDT SoMs feature customised design to support real time operations and provide high performance and processing speeds while minimising power consumption.
There is also a small form factor carrier board that can be battery operated and communication options, including cellular and Wi-Fi. Software design kits for customers are also available.
